Gold pieces: rate, weight and making
We start with the day’s BAJUS gold rate for the piece’s karat: the price of one gram of 22K, 21K or 18K gold. The rate times the piece’s weight is its gold value. We add the value of any stones, then a making charge of 8% on that total. There is no VAT. The price of a gold piece can change whenever the BAJUS gold rate changes.

Diamond pieces: one fixed price
A diamond piece has one fixed price for the whole piece, set by Pearl Oasis. It does not change when the gold rate does.
Weights in grams and bhori
Every weight is shown in grams and in bhori, the traditional Bangladeshi unit for gold. One bhori is 11.664 g and is divided into 16 ana, and one ana is 6 rati. So a 10 g piece weighs 13 ana 4 rati.
One price for everyone
The price you see online is always the standard price. Online prices are never negotiated or discounted.
